The man who signs the cheques. The proof will be in the pudding, but it is absolutely fair to question the sentimentality of signing a player who has a bright purple patch with us BUT was blighted by injuries in the past year.

The article above is positive, even-handed and incredibly fair, offering a balanced view on a signing that is causing debate amongst city supporters. To air both sides is what we will be doing on a lot of issues this season and debating them, so get used to it.

Your point is rendered completely unacceptable by saying our "saintly Hinshelwood". If you bothered to pay attention to our show for the past six months, you would have noticed we have been critical of Hinsh's approach, man management and tactics, especially in the face of Maynard showing how it should be done. Your continued insistence that we have some sort of pro-Hinshelwood agenda flies in the face of facts, and is ironic, considering you accuse us of falling back on false tropes constantly.
