You've also admitted that the Ugglas are the best thing that's ever happened to the club. However, with this return of Dipo, you've slipped into old habits. My theory is that it's because the club is no longer "sameoldcity" and you feel a bit lost. Possibly listen to York Hospital / Crux of it pod which manages to create the correct tone.
The article is not "even-handed". You've cast doubt on the owners' commitment to "the process" of recruitment at the club but have not written about how their record proves otherwise. You're writing for your 20 or so mates pining for Bootham Crescent and Jason...when it was easy to be clever and cynical.

But there are hints of "discord" behind the scenes with your doubts about this signing: when all the evidence is that things have never been better. If you bothered to pay attention to our show for the past six months, you would have noticed we have been critical of Hinsh's approach, man management and tactics, especially in the face of Maynard showing how it should be done. Your continued insistence that we have some sort of pro-Hinshelwood agenda flies in the face of facts, and is ironic, considering you accuse us of falling back on false tropes constantly.
